Cherries Jubilee weed strain 2

It’s no longer Fall, but who doesn’t love cherry desserts? Clearly, the growers and cultivators at The Cali Connection do, as they’ve been pushing their Cherries Jubilee weed strain since the start of 2019. The Cali Connection is a seed company, obviously based in California, that supplies casual and professional growers with some of Cali’s best weed genetics. They have growers in the north and south of the state and pride themselves on their fascinating, but accessible, strains. They try to make sure that they give seeds to the consumer that are true to the genetics of the plant, whatever form that may take. And it’s quite a visual experience with, Cherries Jubilee, one of the most aesthetically pleasing strains I’ve seen so far this year.

Cherries Jubilee weed strain

An indica dominant strain, Cherries Jubilee weed strain is a hybrid cross of Forbidden Fruit x Pre ’98 Bubba. With hints of Cherry Pie and Tangie and that classic kush punch, it’s a hazy euphoria that slowly drifts into heavy body relaxation. The most striking part of this plant is its red and pink colours that crop up during flowering. This is probably the only strain I’ve ever seen that truly deserves the ‘cherry’ name. Its flowers look like a fresh-picked bundle of the fruit, that is really pleasing when contrasted with the standard deep green of marijuana leaves. The flavours and taste are strong, pungent and fruity with hints of chocolate, cherries and that classic musk. Too bad this wasn’t here in time for Christmas.

Cherries Jubilee has significant benefits for medical cannabis patients as well. Its sedative and anti-inflammatory properties help soothe aches and pains, especially for chronic and disease-related issues. Its mental tranquillity can also provide short-term relief from the troubling symptoms of depression, anxiety, and PTSD. Users also report that it’s not as debilitating as some indica-heavy strains and that it can have a stimulating effect in social situations. Check out The Cali Connection to grab some seeds or look for it to pop up at your local dispensary.
