PAX 2: IT IS DISCREET
For those looking for an ultra-discreet, high vape quality experience, the Pax 2 is an excellent buy. Now that the Pax 3 has been released, the Pax 2’s price has dropped to a very attractive $150. Even though the Pax 3 offers an app with custom heat profiles, faster heat up times, haptic feedback and if you get the full kit version, the half bowl and concentrate inserts. But wait, you can still order those inserts separately for the Pax 2. Even though the concentrate insert is $50, it’s still considerably cheaper to buy the Pax 2 and the insert separately.
Maybe you’re like me and you don’t like using your phone when tweaking your vape appliances and you also don’t need your vape to fucking vibrate. If that is the case, then you won’t give a shit about Pax 3’s haptic-ness. The heat up time advantage of the Pax 3 is pretty chill, but you could buy two Pax 2’s for the same price so… I forgot to mention, the exterior of the Pax 2 might actually be better than the Pax 3 since it has superior scratch resistant qualities. Of course, if you prefer things to be shiny so G-d can see you and then shake his/her/they’s head, then maybe the Pax 2 isn’t for you.
ADVANTAGES
There are in fact secret Pax 2 advantages that are usually missing from most vape reviews. Some examples: the battery lasts for 1.5 hours, draws are not billowy hence more discreet, it cools automatically when you put it down (doesn’t turn off instead it just cools to conserve battery life) and heats automatically when you pick it up, it comes with a 2 year warranty (Pax customer service is 5 stars), the heat controls are basic/easy to understand immediately (very important during those times you are toking and your brain goes into half-efficiency mode) and cleaning is relatively easy.
Now let’s talk about aftermarket accessories for this lil guy. There is special bubbler attachment you can get for when you are at home and you just want to plant yourself in a THC coma without feeling a bit of heat in your throat. Seriously though check the pic I posted here, the thing (Tree Perc Hammer Bubbler) is extreme. There is the Delta 3D water pipe adapter that fits on top to help cool da vape but also maintains a large portion of the discretion factor. More attachments are available, all you have to do is google it :-D. It should be mentioned that pretty much all of these accessories go for under $50.
Seriously, the Pax 2 is a hell of a bargain right now and can do the most important things the Pax 3 can do plus there are so many aftermarket attachments that are truly sick. If discretion, vapor quality, and value are your main vape ambitions, then the Pax 2 is the one you must get.
